Venue Manager
Damian Kalusiewicz
With more than 20 years of international hospitality experience across the United States, Asia, Europe and Australia, Damian has built his career in luxury hotels, hospitality management and consulting. His experience has shaped a calm, attentive approach to service and a strong understanding of the details behind a well-run event.
Having called the Byron Bay region home for the past seven years, Damian is also a certified breathwork and meditation facilitator. His interests in surfing, running, yoga, travel and nature reflect the grounded and considered approach he brings to his work.
From the moment your venue hire agreement is signed, Damian becomes your dedicated point of contact for venue services. Throughout your preparations, he works with you and your wedding planner to answer venue questions, coordinate estate facilities and accommodation, and follow up on venue arrangements. On your wedding day, he oversees estate operations and the Tides wedding service team, putting those agreed arrangements into practice. From preparation to celebration, you’ll know who to turn to and who is following things through.

Your wedding venue package includes up to 10 hours of Planning & Logistics support at no additional charge. This support helps you work through the venue-related details and prepare for your celebration at Tides.

Event Stylist and Co
Ngaire Hogan is the Creative Director of Event Stylist and Co, bringing 15 years of wedding coordination experience across the Tweed Coast, Gold Coast and Byron Bay.
With a background in wedding planning, coordination and styling, Ngaire brings a warm, thoughtful and quietly organised approach to her work, with a strong eye for detail and a focus on each couple’s individual celebration.
Event Stylist and Co has worked closely with Tides for five years, since the Estate’s very first wedding. This longstanding relationship brings a detailed understanding of the venue, its spaces and the practical details that help couples make the most of their wedding at Tides.

Katie Day
Atelier Haus Weddings
Hello, I’m Katie, the owner and Creative Director of Atelier Haus Weddings.
With over 10 years of experience in the events and hospitality industry, and 7 years specialising in weddings, I bring a unique combination of creative direction, styling expertise and hands-on event operations to every celebration I work on.
Before establishing my own wedding business, I worked across a number of high-end and fast-paced venues in Sydney, gaining an extensive understanding of hospitality operations, food and beverage service, venue management and the intricacies of delivering exceptional events. This experience has given me a strong operational foundation and an ability to anticipate, troubleshoot and manage the unexpected with confidence.
Alongside this operational knowledge, I developed a deep appreciation for beautiful design, considered details and creating an overall experience that feels intentional from beginning to end. This naturally evolved into my passion for wedding styling, creative direction and bringing a couple’s vision to life.
I love working closely with my couples to take their ideas and turn them into something cohesive, beautiful and uniquely theirs. From the initial concept through to the finer details, my role is to bring everything together and create a clear plan so you feel completely confident in the lead-up to your wedding.

Roxy is the Founder and Creative Director of The Wedding Agency Byron Bay, bringing more than 20 years of experience across events, hospitality and the creative industries.
With a natural eye for design and a calm, organised approach, Roxy oversees each celebration from initial concept through to execution, thoughtfully curating styling, logistics and trusted suppliers to ensure everything flows seamlessly on the day. She takes the time to understand each couple, their story, their style and how they want their wedding to feel, translating this into a celebration that feels personal and authentic.
Well established within the Byron Bay wedding industry, Roxy has built a trusted network of local suppliers. Alongside her experienced team, she manages the details behind the scenes, giving couples the freedom to relax, be present and enjoy every moment.
